  1. There is not much you can do about it. Though if you take a copy of a game for it and write the code 457885000 on the clear side then it will take you to a boot menu where you can reconfigure all of your settings and most internet related problems with the PS3 can be fixed there.

  2. AOSS (AirStation One-Touch Secure System) is a system by Buffalo Technology which allows a secure wireless connection to be set up with the push of a button. Recent AirStation residential gateways incorporate a button on the unit to let the user initiate this procedure. AOSS is designed to use the maximum level of security available to both connecting devices including both WEP and WPA.

NOTE: BEFORE GOING ON, MAKE SURE YOUR WIRELESS ROUTER IS INSTALLED CONNECTED AND SETUP ON YOUR COMPUTER!

I assume you have a Buffalo Technology wirelessrouter and you’re trying to connect the PS3 wirelessly! Just follow the PS3 instructions for wireless connection!

    1. Make sure your wireless Internet connection is active and at full strength. Unplug the PS3’s Ethernet cable if it is plugged into the system.

    2. Turn on the Playstation 3 game console and select “Network Settings” under the “Settings” option in the main menu.

    3. Select the “Internet Connection Settings” tab and select “Yes” when the system displays a new screen saying you will be disconnected from the Internet.

    4. Select “Easy” on the next screen that asks what type of installation you want to use.

    5. Select “Wireless” when it asks you what type of internet connection you have.

    6. Select “Scan” on the next screen. The system will search for all available Internet connections in the area.

    7. Select your home Internet connection when the screen pops up displaying the available Internet options. Select your security settings and enter your encryption key. Save your settings.

    8. Test the connection by selecting the “Test Connection” option. If the connection has been made, your network information will appear on the screen.

  3. Setup a new connection by going to settings > network settings>Internet connection settings > easy > wireless > scan. Then look for your router, and continue.

You can use an ethernet cable and connect it directly to the back of the ps3, then go to settings > network settings>Internet connection settings > easy > wired

    This should work

  4. I’m not sure what kind of router you had before and what kind you have now. What you can try is connecting the back of the PS3 to the router with an ethernet cable. You will have to get a long one depending on how far the PS3 and router are from each other.
