My Xbox 360 won’t read some brand new games, but others it will play with no problem?

I bought a new game, brought it home, opened it up and put it in my 360. It wouldn’t play, I pulled it out and put in another game and it played fine. I went and put the new game in my kids console and it worked great. I called the “wonderfiul” support line and they were no help. Anyone have any ideas?

  1. This also happened to me, now I ended up just buying a new xbox but there are some resolution fixes. Now you can call Microsoft and call them dickheads for * the xbox up. NIf you are under warranty send it in immedietly. I found out the hard way that if you keep it going like that, only being able to play certain brands. Sooner or later the xbox will end up having a nervous break down and get the open trey error. Which they only 3 fixes are, beat on it, send it in, take it apart and risk * it up more

  2. The only thing I can think is to hook your 360 to the internet and see if there is a software upgrade required. If so, it should update it for you.

    Xbox 360 S cons
