Ok i came accross the site “Tradekey.com”. I done alot of research and found it was more or less the place where everyone gets frauded. I was advise to look at their trust points, Business Certificate and only pay by paypal. So i met a business with 3600 trust points but it said 5 feedbacks left by other users. He claims he can sell ps3’s for 120 dollars and iphones for 279 dollars and HD TV for 249 dollars. Is this complete fraud? He also claims to sell Macbooks for 466 dollars and PSP, Digital Cameras etc. The name of the company is HK XIACHAO TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD.

Here is a list of prices he sent me:

1 x New 2009 model Apple Macbook Pro 17” ( Intel Core 2 Duo 2.66GHz, 8GB RAM, 500GB 7200RPM Hard Drive, OS X 10.5 Leopard, DVD±RW) :

$466

2 x iphone 3Gs 32GB: $269 ( 2 or 1pcs? )

1 x PS3 60GB white: $120

1 x Panasonic 32 Inch Viera: $249

1 x Nokia 5800: $100

1 x Fuji FinePix Z30 Purple Digital Camera : $52

1 x iTouch 16GB: $70

So the total prices of the above items are $1595, after a 15% discount is $1356, free shipping. then 50% advance you should pay is $678. is this ok for you? please advise. thanks

is he legit or is this a complete joke? he does 50% until delivery. should i waste my time?

Thanks in advance

  1. I wouldn’t trust it because 1. It’s located in Hong Kong, so it’s going to be tough to dispute anything with your credit card. 2. I think the pay 50% first is too good to be true. Most companies make you pay 100% upfront. If you can pay 50% first, what’s to say that you’re not going to pay the rest? How is it going to guarantee that you’ll pay the other 50%? 3. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
