  1. It hasn't come close to outselling to the 3DS, but it is selling faster then the DS, so it has sold more then the DS has during the same lifespan. The 3DS could very well outsell the DS one day, but as of now the 3DS has sold 17 million, which is incredible for its first year, but the DS has sold 150 million.

  2. This is the time of game of game that I feel like playing right now. It might be because of the new Avengers film coming out in 2 weeks (in UK). But still, it's cheap on amazon, looks simple, easy to get the hang of, why not?

  3. I first saw screens for this game and was thinking, "Oh boy! A Spiritual successor to Ultimate Alliance re-painted so as to emulate Superhero Squad! A really good show!" It doesn't look like it's quite that though…I loved Ultimate Alliance and 2 so based on that I wanted this. Haven't bought yet but…well how about this: is it worth $20 or should I continue waiting for a cheaper, used price?

  4. I liked it when Super Hero Squad were just comic strips, at least they had an appeal, these short and fun marvel characters made the perfect image for the comic strips that were made not too long ago. but then they released the TV show and it went all in the shitter.

  5. They need to put Derek in charge of his own sub-channel, called CGRWhatNotToBuyNoMatterHowStonedYouAre. I'd subscribe!

  6. So this is the kiddie-friendly version, and way less complicated Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, then?

  7. @SwiftyZeAvenger Don't worry about the 3DS lacking original content Super mario 3d land, Pokemon rumble blast, Luigi's mansion 2, kid icarus uprising, Sonic generations and Mario kart 7 are just around the corner

  8. Sure do enjoy Derek's review, the only guy who seems to have an honest opinion on Nintendo games. Poor system just can't seem to get a break.
